- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Just terrible. We stopped by for the 'cheesiest' Mac and cheese, as advertised on the banner outside. To be honest, I'm not even sure there was any cheese in it! It was so bland and flavorless. The pasta was WAY overdone and was basically just mush in some type of bechamel sauce. It was served with a salad...if you can even call it that. It was the ribs of the lettuce leaf with a few pieces of chopped tomato and a flavorless vinaigrette. I'm sensing a theme here...bland, bland, bland. I wish I could say that the iced coffee made up for it but I'm afraid not. It was weak and by the time I had stirred in the sweetner and milk all the ice had melted. This place was awful and the service was just as bland as the food. No smile, no pleases, no thank yous, no have a nice day. We will never return.By Erin Castro, June 09, 2017
- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★The staff is friendly and the food is freshly made in house. Amazing chili and chowder!By The Galvinizer, May 13, 2017
- ★ ★ ★ ★ ☆The interior has plenty of tables and chairs (wooden) that are comfortable for sitting in, but I've never liked sitting in there for some reason. I much prefer to sit outside and watch the passers-by and listen to a podcast, even in bad weather. Great price for coffee ($2) and free refills to boot. They also have a punch card so your 10th coffee is free, which is a nice bonus. Staff is friendly and lots of regulars visit in their coffee groups. My favourite in Sidney.By Michael Colynuck, February 17, 2017
- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Charming spot which got the short end of the stick, being one of the only cafes open on family day while hundred of people enjoyed the town. We ordered a couple bowls of soup for a quick snack while our baby was quiet. He was quiet for exactly 25 minutes while we sat waiting for our soup to be ladled into our bowls and delivered. By the time we received our laborious order he was ready to leave. So we did, still hungry. If we had known the wait time when we placed our order we would have chosen not to order. If we had the time to wait for lunch we would have gone to a restaurant, not a counter-service cafe. Communicate with your customers, please, we deserve it.By Lindsay Plumb, August 04, 2016
