  One of the staff when asked whether a food contain sesame seeds or sesame oil, after paused for a whilr she reluctantly try ti find out. We asked due to one of our kid alergic to sesame seeds or products contain sesame. She was still unsure, so we asked for refund, and she argued and reluctantly assisting us to get the refund. However the GST was not refunded so to avoid argument and for the sake of expediency, we take the refund. The first bad experience with Save on. Foods.

  The staff were all smiling (The ones I saw anyways). The store was clean and the produce area smelled of fresh produce. The shelves were nice and organized too.

  I just find the consistency from location to location makes my shopping experience enjoyable and stress free.

  Save-On has some of the lowest costs on produce on the Peninsula. I like the sour dough bread (later edit: we stopped buying the sour dough loaves due to reduced size, now only if it's on sale). There are weekly deals. Not really fond of their meat section. However some warehouse packed items have value. The lumberjack sandwich, when it's on sale is amazing value.
