  A few weeks ago, friends of ours where in the process of moving houses across town and we wanted to do something special for them. On moving day, we arranged to have dinner delivered to them. We wanted to add a couple of bottles of wine to go with it, which seemed like a simple thing to organize over the phone. Wrong! No liquor store would take payment over the phone, except for Sidney Cold Beer & Wine Liquor Shoppe. Kam, who answered the phone, asked management for authorization to make an exception. Another hurdle to overcome was the actual delivery. No cab or courier company would take payment over the phone either. Disappointed, I phoned to cancel the wine order. Then something amazing happened… Kam, who had just finished her shift offered to deliver our order. Our friends were thrilled to receive the surprise. Exceptional customer service is very rare these days. Thank you Kam, you were instrumental in helping us make our friends feel very special! You rock!
